Help Haiti Donation Event with Lifebridge Church

Lifebridge Church in Cypress, TX needed a website designed and built within a couple of days to notify visitors of their Help Haiti Donation Event. With a limited amount of time, we were able to come up with a webpage that was easy to navigate and find event information to increase participation.

We implemented a jQuery flip card that when clicked on, would flip over horizontally to reveal the donation list items to users needing to know what items they could purchase.

The site also featured a scrollbar section with minute-by-minute updates on the details of the Help Haiti Donation Event.

The event was successful in receiving enough donations to fill a 53 foot trailer!

Bridges to Life Restorative Justice Program

When I approached Bridges to Life on building a website for them, I had no idea just how large this ministry had grown. Their website was very outdated and filled with lots of broken links. They needed a website that would allow them to update the content of their website frequently without touching the code.

So, we went to work, and built their website into the Textpattern content management system, which allows them to update their content when they need to.

Since then, the incredible life-changing work of Bridges to Life was featured in the August 2007 edition of Texas Monthly magazine.

1776 Challenge

When Jack Long approached me on building him a website, he only had a concept and idea of what he would like to see. With a little direction on the look and feel of the site he was looking to build for his 1776 Challenge idea, we were able to come up with a great design for his political action committee.

When we completed his website, he sent me the following email, "Just wanted to let you know that everyone loves our website. A friend who is involved in DC politics just sent me this note: 'The website is fierce. I love it. Looks better than 90% of the conservative non-profit websites out there.'"

Catholic New Creation

Catholic New Creation was in need of an online presence to promote the work of their non-profit ministry to transitioning offenders from prison.

We were able to build them an attractive website that features all sorts of goodies, including a dropdown accordion on the Contact Us page so that users would not get lost with all of the information.

We also implemented a Flash slideshow of photos taken of the work that Catholic New Creation does.

Joined at the Hip Ministries

Malcolm Marshall, also known as Excelsius in the Christian Hip-Hop music scene, describes himself not as a rapper, but as a preacher who ministers to others with the word of God through rap. Malcolm wanted to keep the current green color of his old website, while adding some new features to his site that would keep people updated on he and his wife's ministry: Joined at the Hip.

His website was integrated into the Textpattern content management system so that Malcolm can update his site with music, devotionals, and other ministry related resources.

McGregory AC

Dennis McGregory approached me to build him a website that would help his Houston customers find his air conditioning & heating company online. He didn't know what he wanted his website to look like, but just knew what he wanted web visitors to find his company on the web.

With that information, we were able to build him a website for his company, that included a logo design and search engine optimization techniques. The result was a simple, small website that allowed McGregory AC to have an attractive online presence that is generating new business and customers in the Houston area.
